Please join us in congratulating Prince George’s County Volunteer Marine Fire and Rescue Department Member Felipe Blanco as he has recently graduated from his Firefighter I class! In this fundamental course members learn the basic duties of firefighting from advancing hand lines into structures to raising ground ladders for rescues. We are very proud of Felipe's dedication to this course and our department as he completed approximately 200 hours worth of coursework and self study alongside his day to day responsibilities as a father, husband, and full time employee elsewhere.
